Architect and designer Alexander Lamis brings his experience and vision to a new enterprise, Lamis Architect. Founded in 2021, Lamis Architect offers high quality architectural, planning, and design services to public libraries and other building projects for both public and private clients. By combining cutting edge sustainable design with pragmatism and budget-consciousness, Lamis Architect provides its clients with optimal results tailored to their specific requirements. Alexander Lamis, FAIA, is an architect, planner, and author. Prior to founding Lamis Architect, Lamis was a Partner at Robert A.M. Stern Architects, where he led the firm’s extensive library design practice and managed many of the firm’s most iconic architectural projects, including Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club, the Stanford Computer Science Building, and the Museum of the American Revolution. A graduate of MIT and the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture and Planning, Lamis was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in 2016.
